Hi all-
Are you ready to have some fun? No doubt you’ve settled into the new year, and have an idea of areas you will focus on for your business.
I’d like to invite you to join me in a personal challenge. The challenge is this: LET’S VOW TO DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT THIS YEAR IN AREAS WHERE THINGS AREN’T WHAT WE WANT!
My thinking is this – “Why go with the flow when something is not working?” Pick a nagging area and vow to do something different this month. Next month, pick another one and then so on until 12 are put to bed.
I attended Steve Straus’s Small Business, Big Success (SBBS) Business Transformation Coaching Group in February and one of the members shared that by making just ONE change in an area that wasn’t working her business went from in the red to in the black with $75 K in reserve! That’s the power of making just one little adjustment!
I hope you are excited about doing something different this year. The time is now. Let’s go together!
Best to you all.
Hugs-
Tina
P.S. If you would like to join an amazing group of entrepreneurs and take Steve’s SBBS program for a test-drive, email me and I will set you up with a no-obligation, complimentary pass for the next meeting which will be held Friday, February 8, 2008 in Plano from 8:30 am to 11:30 am. The topic is Sales! And, by the way, when was the last time you took time for you to really focus on what is important to you in your business?

Hello everyone-
I talked to a new client recently, and our conversation reminded me of how important it is to really honor what we need and how we work in the world day-to-day. Over the years, I’ve noticed that we all have our ways of approaching things. From the way we organize our files to the way we organize our thoughts, we each have our own distinctive way of being in the world. The more we know what we need to be our best selves, the easier it is to ask for it. Similarly, the clearer we are about what works and what doesn’t, the easier it is to support what works and minimize what doesn’t.
This week, we have a tool for those who think circularly. This is indeed a must-have for the person who has thoughts that flow in a non-linear fashion. I have really loved using this tool. It’s free, easy to use (very intuitive), and can be up and running in less than 10 minutes.
This year is off to a great start for us. Our new book will be out by May (insert a little detour) and supports our new program – True You Marketing. I have had a passion for helping people be authentically themselves within their businesses for a very long time so imagine my great surprise when the woman who helps us with putting our book together suggested that I let go of the straight-laced marketing book I wrote to embrace a book that is more ‘me!’ I’m super jazzed about it, and sharing everything I know (well, maybe not everything!)
As we move into 2008, be sure to let us know what you want us to cover and write about in Marketing Mojo – we would be happy to cover the topics on your mind! If you have a question, email me and I’ll start an Ask Tina column. That would be so much fun!
I’m so grateful about so many things and most of all, I’m grateful for the opportunity to share information with others who serve our great big world.
Best to you all.

Tina
P.S. Where are you ‘working around something’ in your business? Is there some area where you are working a system or a process that doesn’t work for you? If so, consider changing it! Do what works for you!

Hi all-
Well, it’s that time of year again. It’s just about time for St. Nick and a whole host of other characters to make the rounds.
Quick question – have you noticed how busy it is? I’ve talked to a lot of people recently that are asking about where all of this business is coming from around the holidays. Apparently a lot of us have gotten used to have several weeks of slow days during the holidays and now that clients are a clamoring, there’s just no time to get it all done!
The good news in all of this, is, of course, that business is good. Despite the almost daily reminder about all that is not going well in the world, there are lots and lots of opportunities for us to tap into.
The opportunity with just a smidge of downtime around the corner is to think about and consider all of the ways you can automate things around the office. From the questions that you answer over and over again to the marketing items that slip through the cracks.
Invest a few hours to relax and consider the myriad of ways you can cut the work load in 2008!

P.S. What is your one nagging issue? How often does it pop up in various areas? Usually, there’s one pressing challenge and it shows up in many, many ways. Figure out what it is and you’ve got a fix that can really spell relief!

Hi all-
I really have to be in awe of how things work with the world. I wrote about iJustine.com last week and THIS week she was on the front page of www.TalkShoe.com where she is being boasted as the largest TalkCast EVER! If you want to get to know this really cool, truly talented young woman a little better, pop in to hear her live (next Sunday evening)!
Every year clients ask me what they should do for holiday gifts. Is food a good idea? Should I get something with our name imprinted? What about holiday cards? Will my gift get lost in the shuffle?
This week I combined a few holiday topics into a nice soufflé of holiday marketing advice. Enjoy!

P.S. This holiday season, consider breaking out of the mold – the jello mold, that is!
December 2nd 2007
Hi all-
Wow, what an amazing holiday. Thanks to those of you who sent a shout out. Hope all of you had a great time with family and friends.
I received a referral over the holiday (thanks Glenn!) and when I spoke to the person I was referred to the first thing I heard was, “Wow, Tina, you have a LOT of energy! That newsletter – how do you do it?”
I have to admit that it took me a minute to step back and ask (imagine me looking down and mouthing to myself – how do I do what?) myself how to answer that question! Then it hit me!
To many people putting out a newsletter like this may look like a lot of work, seem like a lot to do, but I really am energized by it. I shared that idea with this wonderful lady (more on her company coming in a future issue and same with Glenn, too!). You just can never know where you will find yourself. This little ezine has really helped me share the rambling thoughts I have in my head, the information I want to share with you, and all the very cool stuff I come across and that you absolutely must know about!
So, for a follow-up for Thanksgiving, I want to thank YOU for being my muse and my reason to publish with lots of energy every week!
Hugs-
Tina
P.S. What’s the one thing in your business you’ve been really, really wanting to do that you aren’t doing – commit to doing it today! This ezine was sitting on my shelf for over a year and all I can think of is all the fun I missed!
